We'll Be Friends Forever Poem by Marilyn Lott

We'll Be Friends Forever

We could go for years apart
But once we are together
We would talk about problems
Or simply talk about the weather.

Over forty-five years our friendship
Has endured, oh yes, that's true
I cannot even imagine
A friend more special than you.

Raising our kids can be very hard
So having a friend is so
Calming, knowing we were not alone
It helped the years to flow.

Shopping, having lunch has been
So much fun for me
I wish we could continue doing it
For all eternity!
