'' We Won't Share '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' We Won't Share ''

As we seek to abscond,
From where we were born,
The question we must ask is, Why?
With here we've a bond,
Yet we treat her with scorn,
Her destruction we are trying to deny.

As populations grow,
Life's supplies run low,
Our time here is running out fast,
We ignore nature's show,
From above and below,
That's why we are feeling harassed.

Destroying what sustains,
Shows we've no brains,
We are, the main cause of pollution,
What little remains,
Shows chaos reigns,
It's elsewhere we seek a solution.

On Universal immersion,
We must cast an aspersion,
In outer space we cannot survive,
A process of reversion,
Could create a diversion,
With the will we could possibly survive.

We are not very shrewd,
The truth we exclude,
Global warming is a trick of the mind?
Though conflict is crude,
We do love a feud,
To the miracle of creation, we're blind.

But we refuse the chance,
Our lives to enhance,
We think that our future's out there,
In that vast expanse,
We do not stand a chance,
The owners have said,

‘' We Won't Share ‘'
