we would give everything we have
and not look back
just to find somehow
we were stumbling down the same
track as you, and you up ahead
in the purple dusk
still seeking what was lost
what was lost
my God
we all are born to find
to live and then move on
from what we cherished most
oh Father
Son
and Holy Ghost
what else can we know in the world
but you
what else could we care to.
