Wealth Of Debts To Pay Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wealth Of Debts To Pay

One known to have shown,
An ability to leave...
A wealth of debts to pay.
Can not be dependable...
To correct and solve,
An economic crisis...
Created by theft.
And corruption on full display.
Leaving one who disobeys,
Rules and ethics to betray.

But yet can convinces,
With attention given...
That conflicts and division,
Will benefit a quality of life.
And prosper those...
With eyes closed.
Believing others picked to accuse...
Are the cause and reason,
A 30 trillion dollar hole...
Had been given permission to dig.
Deeper.
As a choice to choose.

While feasting upon,
Selfishness and greed.
Those left historically disenfranchised,
Did alone to do.
As they spent lives to live,
Noticeably homeless, hungry.
And thriving to survive through...
Poverty, racism, inequities and disparities!

Although this argument is used,
By those who have abused...
Entitlements they have decided,
Are theirs to own...
Condoning the feeding of their misdeeds!
Wake up folks.
You have been duped and provoked by jokes.
Told and entertained...
By one.
Skilled in deceiving.
Taught done to do to master as a craft.
Successfully!
Until everyone discovers,
Themselves surrounded in darkness.
Crawling on knees.
That will take a miracle to leave.
To restore any signs of light,
Minds unconscious left behind.
