Web Poem by Matthew Hyatt

Web

Rating: 4.0

I used to believe
I used to try
I used to believe I could fly
I never thought he would leave

Now I spin a web of the past
A web of what shall last
The emotion that comes every dawn
The heartbreak that he's gone

Now I believe the untold
The things you cannot hold
Now as the tides ebb
It seems I'm caught in my own web

Simple, but speaks volumes. Your opening is a little weak, but the power at the end brings it all together. (Psst - hey!)
