I want to see
Tiny hands clutching big ones
Little wobbly steps trying to catch up with the Bigfoots!
I want to see 'shining morning faces'
That once Shakespeare saw
I want to see some excited 'byes'
And some squeaky cries
I want to see hearts in pangs
Eyes moist
Fingers crossed
Prayers made
Gods remembered
Blessings showered
Kisses blown
I want to see
Arms open in welcome
Comforting words
Endearing sweet nothings
Some lisping, some prattling
I want to smell the aroma of food
From the world's best kitchens- Moms'
I want empty spaces
Come to life
I want to hear shouts of joys
And admire little leaps of joy
Make way folks
Our Kindy Kings and Queens
Are arriving, Ahoy!

wow! Anil. What an exhilarating poem first thing in the morning. Loved every line of it, my friend. I guess you'd better have a ten for this one. many regards tom billsborough

just a plea from the heart, Anil. I've read all three of your poems now, every one brilliant. You're on my favourite poet's list. Can we have some more? Please. please. Tom Billsborough
