What a shame in democracy?
The violence and unruly scenes has increased frequency
Parliament is no more a temple
Murderers and gangsters represent the people

How much is waste of public money?
Apart from wastage of food grains in country
Poor watch helplessly the destiny
Please help us O, almighty

What does the country stand for?
A place for amassing the wealth
People to be instigated to fight one another
Race, cast and creed to take seat as driver

We may witness still more nose dive
The justice may not survive
The culprits are let loose after death sentence
The politicians dilute the importance of highest office

The poison has been spread
The people are wrongly led
In direction for committing harakari*
The political system is reduced to shame unnecessary

Let write thinking people come forward
Offer their services with promise and words
Country needs great sacrifice for survival
Can we not make a bid of revival?

* Harakari.. Japanese word for suicide
