A torch of knowledge
We bear in our souls
Curious children seek it
We follow their calls
It is not our own wealth
But a heritage we’ve got
We’ll convey it to them
To help change their lot
The future expectations
Of their lives are with us
We’ll give to their minds
Unique enlightened focus
If their path is difficult
We should make it clear
By giving them treasure
All that our hearts bear
