What A Way To Die! (Ode To Poemhunter) - Poem by Max Reif

They found him
Under the rushing
Torrent of poems,
Dashed to pieces,
But his face was intact,
Smiling like the Buddha,
And a note in his pocket:
'I'm trying to read
Every new poem
That comes through here.'

It's a little like being a gerbil in a cage, hmm? Very funny poem...but all too realistic.
