What Are You Now? Poem by Michelle Claus

What Are You Now?

Rating: 4.3

Are you the wind that ruffles
a silent day?

I was walking,
and I thought I heard you rustle trees
and toss leaves
upon the autumn.

Are you September's equinox?

I was dreaming
and I thought I saw your silhouette
paint the fire
of fall.

Very emotional and touching. Sometimes, life lives us wondering of one thing or the other. You have expressed this beautifully......good job!

I understand from the poem's 'topic' and your note that the poem is written in remembrance of a demised friend named Tommy Oh. The poignant thoughts expressed in the poem are indeed touchy. Well written.
