What Has Been Forced And Faked Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What Has Been Forced And Faked

One trying to impress,
Another who is impressive...
Is like someone waiting for a delivery,
With a patience...
That anticipates.

And when the moment comes,
The addressing is found to be incorrect.
With a name spoken needing a spell check.

Expecting a reception,
By one who does not accept what is given...
Is a rejection that communicates,
Someone is not comprehending...
What a sharing of a conversation takes.

And one who is impressive,
Makes no attempts to impress...
With what has been forced and faked.
