What I Am - Poem by Wayne Bowen
The good in others let me see,
while knowing all the faults in me.
Give me insight to let me see,
all the things wrong with me.
Strength to overcome the past,
to free me from my shame at last.
Give me pride in who I am,
that I can give to those around.
When final judgement comes to me,
help me be what others see.
