What I Can Do Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What I can do,
Is approve my own improvements made.
With a staying away,
From finding everyday another excuse to make.

What I can do...
Is express appreciation to others.
For their efforts to endeavor.
And less judgement to pass,
If my expectations are not theirs to achieve.

What I can do...
Is begin to evaluate my own accomplishments.
And if they have been few upon my review,
What I can do...
Is spend more time minding my own business.
With a doing done to prioritize,
The importance of it not to refuse.
