You leave me behind on the shore of language
And I am always waving goodbye to you from the ground
While you soar my compeers a thing you are accustomed to
While i
Soaked to the skin in semaphores of rain, exhaustion
The exhaustion of the shore birds pray for you obscure as mists
Let me say this as
I say to you in dreams to those in the mirror's mirror
Who should be my compeers if the world were fair
And would query you if I could in ancient wartime telegrams
That never reached their destination
Still I will bide
Like a slow unvarnished bride of silence
An urn full of ashes
Tipped over at heavens door.
