If I said I love you
Would you turn away
Or would you stay with me
To help pass the day

Would you walk and hold my hand
Or sit on a bench to talk
Sharing with each other
Much more than when we walk

I would look into your eyes
To see how far I could see
Looking for a future
That might happen between you and me

But if you feel your not ready
Because things are moving fast
All you have to do is let me know
We'll slow down so things will last

But if you want to leave
Just turn and walk away
I will completely understand
If we have to wait for another day
