Finding a path in this universe
that leads to a goal with meaning
Commitment suddenly is derailed…
seeping darkness is intervening

Many times thoughts wonder
and replay inconceivable events
What if choices had been different
Would the outcome have been content…

Looking for a single reason...
Does it help to accuse and blame
In solitude I find it no longer matters...
The past remains the same
