I am not conversant with the Bhagavad Gita,
Nor the Holy Koran.
I am not familiar with the Bible,
Nor understand the Buddhist Chants.
I respect the people who know and read them;
Make no fun of people who pray to a tree, stone or motif.
I love the people who care for others.
And learn from them.
I try not to hurt people
And value their thoughts, words, actions.
I have still a lot to learn and a lot to give,
And a long way to go.
I have ‘Belief’ in my heart and ‘Faith’ in my prayer.
I know that God resides in me;
And so, have to be fair in all I do.
Now-
If you ask me what is religion?
Who and where is God?
Then I wonder. Who is laughable?
You? Or Me?
Beautiful write. Prayer has mighty power. It does not recognise race or religion. Invite you to read my poem I SEARCHED YOU and drop your valuable comments. Regards.

These are my sentiments exactly! Your mastering of words to fills my mind with imagery.
You are a fine person as you respect all and make fun of none, a character of a true poet.

This is the right spirit of a believer. The knowledge that there is a super power beyond all of us and that we should be loyal and subservient to it is the greatest knowledge! All hulla bulla in the name of religion is meaningless!
Well said Valsa.
