Someone asked me 'What is Charity? '
Is it giving millions to a popular cause?
Is it vainly announced for all people to see,
Does it seek recognition and worldly applause?

Some do have funds they think nothing of,
They can give these away with no qualms.
Born with the riches, they have more than enough-
They can shower and bless begging palms.

Yet genuine Charity, from within it starts,
Done in secret, unannounced everyday.
Giving kindness and compassion from the heart
Especially to those who can never repay.
