What Is Your Name? Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

What Is Your Name?

I was walking
In the pleasant evening
With great energy and enthusiasm,
After walking some distance,
I met a strange traveller,
He asked me inquisitively,
'What is your name? '
Immediately I told him my name,
Then he began to laugh,
Being surprised,
I asked him the reason,
Soon the mysterious traveller answered,
'That is not your name,
That is the name of your insignificant shadow,
To tell the truth,
Your name is written nowhere
In this vast sphere, '
Being angry and frustrated,
Immediately I stopped walking.
