What Of Success And Ability (Inspiraioshun Jawad Ji)

Rating: 5.0

There is no compatibility
between success and ability

What are the two
don't ask me
but be free just to listen to me...

When Rome was burning
The EMPEROR was wining
drinkingred wine only
enjoying his harp

He became breathless
came out for fresh air
what did he see
don't ask me

then remarked
ROME IS BURNING
but no one informed me

Well guess who was he...
don't ask me

Another guy had a taste for
females
some say he liked
women like
Mariliyin

who was he
don't ask me...

Then there was a guy
A big guy
after devouring a chicken
he wanted to ravish one
help devour his small piddle gun

who was he
don't ask me

And then there are so many
they say why
what are you doing
why did you not have a go
everyone was at it so

Who could she be
don't ask me...

So the leaders
GREEDY and Corrupt
Sexually deviant experts
drinkers
alcoholic only are worshiped
can you be one

don't ask me
white lies only stalk me

just smile please
Be happy
you all helped them
to reach the helm

There is no compatibility between success and ability and you are very right. This poem is very sensitive and thought provoking also. Power should be utilized for benefit of people and society. Greed should be broken and removed from mind. An amazing poem is shared here...10

I recollect Munshi Prem Chandra's short story, Shatranj Ke Khiladi (The chess Players) , they were playing chess in the First War of Independence,1857; when British Army was marching in Lucknow. They saw it and ignored it. Then a fight arose between them, they took their swords out and killed each other. They did not lack courage to fight. But they didn't fight the Britishers, why? The rulers were corrupt.

Leaders and politicians, unfortunately, are more often than not corrupt and rarely represent the interests of the common citizens. A well written poem. Thanks for sharing this sir.
