What Remains? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

What Remains?

Rating: 5.0

If I met you in the dark
Would I recognize your face?
I would feel your soft whisper
And your gentle embrace

If I heard your voice
Over the telephone wires
I would feel your affection
Hello, is all my love requires

When your life came to an end
Nothing tangible remained
I see your features in the faces
Of our children…ingrained
