What's Wrong? Poem by beautiful imperfection

What's Wrong?

You're hurting inside,
yet you won't let me in,
you say everything's fine,
and hold it all in.
You look like you want to cry
happiness in you I can not find,
you deny that something's wrong,
yet you suggest you want to die.
You cut your wrist,
cry alone at night,
it's tearing you apart,
yet you won't give me insight.
I want you to know
I truly love you,
and I'm here to help,
whenever I can, it's true.
I'm worried and scared,
of what you might do,
I want it to stop
and stay away too.
For you're not the only one
who lies awake at night,
pondering her life,
enhancing her sight.
I know it's not easy
being you,
but please at least try
not to be so blue.
