From the very first day I opened my eyes
To my final farewell and teary goodbyes
My wish to God that before my last day
I'll help spread the message that God gave me to say

Life is too short to be spent all on making money
We are all in search for this land of milk and honey
As you rise each morning to see a new day
Don't forget to kneel down, talk to your God and pray

Providing for your own an your family
Can take a toll on your mind and body
We have the fruits of the spirit to munch on in time of need
To reap a huge harvest first you must plant a seed

I often sit down and think what do I wanna be
What is God's purpose for me?
And then that soft and still voice answered and said
"wait my child and you will see..."
