What Stirs Me? (An Acrostic) Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

What Stirs Me? (An Acrostic)

Rating: 4.5

Here in the middle of this mad-mad world
I lick my wounds from the inside-out;
Some tethered prisoner of time
Proposed pigeon of another's life;
Object of someones obsessive dream
Elegant end to end all ends?
Thought provoking center of their never ending circle-
Rendering me a virtual shut in...
Yearning for yesterdays freedom of: 'out of sight-out of mind';

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just words but with an understanding of Emily Dickenson**
The way she lived.
