What Would It Be Like To Be A Bird? - Poem by Pete Crowther

What would it be like to be a bird?
Flying through the air.
Gliding so beautifully I just have to stop and stare.

Baby birds learning to fly,
Finally flying up so high.
Sleeping at night under mother bird's wing,
Snug and warm waking up to sing.

What a 'tweet tweet' poem! I must admit it would be a lovely idea to be able to fly like a bird, but it is just a dream really, isn't it!
    Nice write.
