Whatever Might Dismay Poem by Glen Kappy

Whatever Might Dismay

Whatever might "dismay"
disjoin
disconnect
the first from the second syllable—
let it be gone—

and think on
or better yet
go out and add to your experiences
of that month, that season
with all its delights for our senses

and see if that gives you reason
for a better outlook on your day.
