What's The Matter Poem by Valerie Dohren

What's The Matter

Rating: 5.0

What's the matter, nothing's broken
All is fine and dandy
Everything is ‘A' okay
Sweet as sugar Candy

What's the matter, don't you worry
Chill and take it easy
Why get stressed, just sit awhile -
All is bright and breezy.

Sometimes life can bring its troubles
Causing so much anguish -
Just relax and mindfully
In pure calmness languish.

Take a pause to stop and ponder
Think of all life's treasures -
Set aside your saddened heart
Count your many pleasures.

Watch the dawning, filled with beauty
See the sun then setting
Hear the songbirds in the trees -
Say goodbye to fretting.

Time is passing, hear it ticking
Take it by the minute
Place your worries in a box
Wrap it up and bin it!
