When Blessed Peace Comes Poem by Terence George Craddock

When Blessed Peace Comes

Rating: 5.0

with blessed peace
comes prosperity
an end to poverty

when horrific
resources waste
spent on warfare

are sacred devoted
to desolate desperate
needs of all humanity

A very true message in this poem. I want to see an end to poverty, but that is not likely to happen. On TV I saw beggars rummaging through plastic bags in a rubbish dump, looking for something of value. I think the country was Bangladesh. Michael.
