When I Behold You Poem by DM W

When I Behold You

When I behold you
In the rarefied light,
Small joys are magnified.
When I behold your face,
In magical moments of bliss,
The spectres of the past retreat.
When I gaze into your eyes,
The dark centre of my world dissolves.
