When I Drown Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

When I Drown

Rating: 5.0

When I drown in
my own tears,
when I cry aloud
in the midst of the night
in helpless loneliness,
You come to me
to lift me up
from the waters
and the mire
into which I fell.

How can I
ever, thank
you enough
my Lord and my God.

You come to lift me up, indeed. A prayerful hymn, one need to sing on many occasions in life. Well-penned.

A very beautifully penned poem/prayer in praise of God. Excellent choice of graphic to complement the words. Thank you for sharing, Tony. Lovely work!

Who else can lift us out of our misery? God walks with us!
