When I See You - Poem by Timothy Hardy

A smile that lights up a room
A heart that knows no bounds
Intelligence beyond compare
When I see you

Kindness that all can feel
Responsible in all things
Compassionate to all
When I see you

Unwaveringly caring
Gorgeous beyond belief
As thoughtful as can be
When I see you

Someone who can make me laugh
Someone who can put me in my place
Someone who knows me better than me
When I see you

Overly modest
A friend when a friend is in need
A soft hand to hold
When I see you

A person who drives me to be better
Beauty the likes these eyes have never seen
That’s what I see
When I see you
