I am filled with a tenderness
beyond compare,
making love to you
is the most exquisite prayer.
When I think of you
great wonder fills me,
you who came
like sunrise
on the other side of night.
When I think of you
I bow to the grace
and goodness of life
My heart opens
fragile and free
grateful
for this love you give to me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This love did not last long . But it gave me a new lease on life after a time of much grief I am grateful for the gift of iit even now.I would like it to have deepened but that was not meant to be. I still love this man and we remain friends. I feel life gives us exactly what we need whatever that looks like on the surface.
