When I Try To Forget You Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

When I Try To Forget You

Scent of your body lingers in the air
I feel inebriated and seek for you
In the wild realm of my dreams

Night plays the part of a healer
Caressing my eyes and lulling me to sleep

Scent of your hair spreads across
The room filling every corner
It lives in my dresses too

Night lives in my irises where
From I try to shed you as a tear drop
Forgetting you forever
