When I Walk
Rating: ★5.0
When i walk alone in the valley of flowers
I see the splendour of nature and its powers
Flowers of all sizes, shapes and colours
Nodding contentedly in the breeze for hours
The aroma and scent sublime
My serenity peaking in this Sub Saharan clime
In the distance cows, heads bowed grazing gracefully
Next to them goats goarding on grass in rows like a class
Sheep sheepishly sipping water at the pond fondly bleating a beat
Male donkeys unashamedly lusting after their ass lasses
Only thing missing in this beautiful beast feast palaver is my lover.
