When I was young, and life was new,
I saw the world through different eyes.
Through rose colored glasses, without a clue,
There were no such things as lies.
How age does change the world around,
Suddenly all things are clear.
Once the world was flat and now it's round,
Where you were deaf, you now can hear.
The rose colored glasses fall from your face,
How could you have been so blind.
You've entered into a state of grace,
While new equations race through your mind.
