When It Comes To Family... Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

When It Comes To Family...

Angel of light.
From dusk to dawn.
When everything has gone wrong.
Righting a broken song.
Drying up the tears that don't belong.
A picture to take.
A smile to fake.
Dressing inappropriately for this wake, and very proud of the mistake.
Not a suit and tie, but red pants with a butt flap to leave it all hang out, with a pair black and yellow flip flops, and a tea shirt that says "YES HE IS ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE! ! ! ".
Doing the penguin crawl, in a drunken stumble.
Enjoying every offensive stare.
Counting the angry glares.
Playing some sucidial music as loud as my phone will allow, because that's how he died.
You're right I have no shame.
You're right I don't care, I'm just getting off on the kicks from a family that wants nothing to do with me.
I will not pretend on how I feel about them all.
I only showed because I considered the guy that was once married to my b*tch of sister a friend.
Paying my respects in my own way.
I'm sure he would get a laugh or two from it if he was to see it.
He hated them just as much me.
Stuck up, snobby prudes.
Sorry if that seems rude.
But my antics can be when it comes to family.
