When It Does No Feel Right - Poem by Amalei Masigla

The years are marked with your beatings
tears still rembered as pain streams down the face
thought it was forgoten but still it was remebered
now it wishes you were gone
away from these all
The face is marked with scars
how at this point it wants out l
but fear settles for how can it be without you
afraid not making it alone
away from these all
The hands are marked with blisters
tired and seeping with wasted efforts
blaming unfinished labor to no one but its owner
can do it on its it cannot
away from these all
The heart is marked with callouses
numb they call it..dense it may seem
stubborness lies and lives
mind stuggles to dictate
be with
needed to be with
but can live without it
pity for it needs me
away from these all
