When Late At Night She Lays In My Arms Poem by Gert Strydom

When Late At Night She Lays In My Arms

When late at night she lays in my arms
then her breath blows against my face
and her hair is in a curly bush,
spread satin soft upon my chest
and I can feel every breath that she takes
while her eyes gleam like those of a cat
where in I am lost time and again.
