When Love Is Gone
I try to gather
The remnants of love
Littered in our hearts
With so many bruises
And insults it is better
We should live apart
Love has been lost
In the quagmire of
Doubts and mistrust
Love between us
Is clouded by hate and
Has already been lost
It is better the life is
Lived watching the
Past scenes in a mirror
It is scalded like a
Leaf in the scorching
Heat of summer
