When Love Is Launched Poem by Bryan Taplits

When Love Is Launched

Nowhere is the sun but in your eyes
Where mischief resides and plays,
The years may all go, rivers flow,
And paths may wend-
But all lose their folds
wherever you go.

Admittedly, summits dizzy me a bit
But none spins me as you do, My Goal,
Always my compass- I'm ever encompassed-
Pierced by each shaft, assigned only to me-
That first finds me, then binds me-
and holds.
Oh. The ponderous gait of my insipid past
Was inglorious and naught when I first met you,
But now my future seems wistful-
Immortal and blissful-
For whatever is said
Whatever you do,
You'll always be faithful-eternal-
And so I'll always be eternally true.
