When There Isn't A Christmas Welcome

When there isnt a Christmas welcome
When the sleet drives hard
When the porch lights are all off
There are still the stars
There are the wisps of clouds
The moon illuminates
To keep you company
Sojourner, whoever you are
Draw up to your own inner hearth
Close your eyes and memorize
The passages where God says
Truly, He will never leave you.
