The chords of her heart
Resting in a long covet
For those fingers to touch them
And press hard against
To let her body possess the music of love
Which no else can hear
And like a boat sailing on the sea
She may float on it for rest of her life
Recklessly without any fear
And then the day came.....
When she fell in love
The cords of her heart remain untouched
But her soul was lifted......
By the music originating from an unknown source
She told none, but everyone could hear
How? She knows not
Cause it was not the boat which was sailing
It was the sea holding the boat
Through its buoyancy
Cause she thought it was she who possessed love
But it was love that possessed her.
It was the sea holding the boat Through its buoyancy Once again lovely imagery, thank you for sharing
no ONE else may be better and at 18 how many times have u fallen in love ung deer
To let her body possess the music of love float on it for rest of her life Then she fell in love music originating from an unknown source But it was love that possessed her. This is mystical and ecstatic, philosophical and spiritual in all your ideas, visions and views of love, the heart, the reactions of your being. Like this poem very very much dear poetess. tony
A fine poem with a great perspective. You deal with what love can do. Far too many are satisfied to explain what love is, to simply supply a definition. Well done, Jaya.
Hi Jaya, A really exquisite poem on love: she thought it was she who possessed love But it was love that possessed her. Yes, that is what happens when you fall in love.. Well worded..
lovely poem.'The chords of her heart rings with the music of love'....the abstract is presented with so much simplicity....really enjoyed it...
Thank you so much....well I think the most beautiful things are the simplest one!
