When You Will Be Gone Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

When You Will Be Gone

Rating: 5.0

When there will be no stars to
Shine in the night sky
Murmuring of the stream will
Seem like a painful cry

I know you are not with us now
And forever gone
To a far off land to solitude leaving
All to weep and mourn

When the moon does not come out
And the nights are dark
Streets are lonely and there will
Be stray dogs to bark

I know you will not return ever
To live and sing with us
Tears will flow like river as we
Can never bear the loss

When the cool breeze loses its
Essence over the meadows
Sleepy townships stand forlorn
As ghostly shadows

I know you have changed your
Mind and going away
Watering the sapling of pain with
Tears we will leave one day
