When Your Heart Became Cold Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

When Your Heart Became Cold

The fire dimmed without warning,
embers smothered by unseen hands.
Words, once soft, turned sharp,
cutting through the silence that grew between us.

Your gaze became a window,
closed and frost-covered.
I reached, but the warmth was gone,
lost in a winter I couldn't thaw.
