Where do i stand he asked
Where does that leave me?
You stand, my love, beside me
In my thoughts, my dreams, my reality
That leaves you in my arms
Lying next to me
In my thoughts and dreams
And every waking hour
When we’re apart
That leaves you in my longing
My longing to be near you
My wishing for your touch
My bliss at the touch of your hand
My delight in the warmth of you
Beside me, breathing warm on my neck
Warm against cold, making warm
Warm against warm
Touch against touch
No longer against
No longer alone
But one
