Where Is My Gleaming Star? Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Where Is My Gleaming Star?

Hide thy love for me in any part of earth
And feign as not being Cupid's dart hurt.
If you are a pilgrim there twice in mirth
I'll follow you to bring that nice rose out.

Don't hope to conceal it ev'n in an ocean
And prattle on things useless far off to love.
If you blab the name of bay in your mind
I'll dive in to hoist it up alive.

Dare to shoot it up into the world of stars
And pretend as if you're strange to love.
My soaring fancy will hover around it
To spot it and pull it down hither.

But you've buried in your heart and choked its healing tone.
So let your heart be mine and mine yours to end my moan.
