I see it on television
I hear of it on the radio
I see it in the movies
I read about it in novels
It is all around me

I grew up around it
I saw it at school
I heard about it at university
I caught people talk about it
Yet experienced it, I never had

The love people talk about
The butterflies they mention
The passion that drives them insane
The light headedness experienced
When will it be for me?

I am beginning to lose hope
I am starting to doubt it
I feel it is not meant for me
I also want it for me
When will I have my happy ending?
