Where Is Their Sacrifice? Poem by john (called jack) wren

Where Is Their Sacrifice?

They talk like Christians
All spiritual and good,
These Catholics and Protestants
Their lives soaked in blood.
They live in the past
With their heads in the sand,
And worship the Lord
With a gun in their hand.
With pipe and drum
They march to fight,
With hate in their heart
To protest is their right.
Bricks and bombs
They hurl through the air,
Where they land
They simply don't care.
They kill and maim
And feel no remorse,
These Catholics and Protestants
Will die for their cause.
So where does Christ
Come on this scene!
Or do they worship a flag
Of red, white, blue or green.
To call them Christians
Is an insult to Christ,
Where is Forgiveness and Love!
Where is Their Sacrifice!
