Where Night Meets Dawn Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

Where Night Meets Dawn

When all the world around us bends and breaks,
Do not weep, my love let your heart rest in mine.
What drifts away returns with tender stakes,
Transformed by time, by fire, by love's design.
The wound you bear becomes the place I find.
A spark of light, a pulse that will not fade.
Sit close, my darling, leave the dark behind,
Let me hold you through the silence we have made.
Each shadow quivers at the kiss of dawn,
Each sorrow melts beneath our whispered flame.
Through tears, through brokenness, our love lives on,
And calls the stars above to speak your name.
Wait with me, my heart will be your guide,
For love will bloom where once the night had died.
