Each time I close my eyes,
You catch me in my dreams.
Why is it that's it only been awhile
It seems we've waited a thousand lives.

Tears roll down my drunken face,
Each time I close my eyes,
You rescue me from the shades of grey
Your smile just blew them away.

I hold you tight in my arms,
To live this moment forever and ever,
Each time I close my eyes,
I ask God to hear this little prayer.

Time flies away and we bid goodbye,
But it's not over yet, my love
We will meet ever again,
Each time I close my eyes.
